What a jam packed show today! First we broke down how the NPGL athletes did at the kick-off of the Reebok CrossFit Games Regional competitions in the Atlantic and Southern regions. We brought athletes like Chad “The Hugger” Augustine, where we talked to him HERE. We also mentioned the multisport and talented Nicole Capurso, you can see her HERE. Sarabeth “My GridCrush” Phillips did pretty darn well at the Atlantic Regional competition, coming in 9th place overall. You can see her video HERE.
Congratulations to Jenn Jones from the Miami Surge who qualified to the CrossFit Games. You can see her in our “Off The Grid” Segment seen HERE. A couple coaches made the Reebok CrossFit Games over the past weekend too. You had Dusty Highland from the LA Reign and also coach Mike Lee from the Phoenix Rise. You can catch Mike’s interview from us HERE. If you haven’t checked out these interviews you should so you can catch up on these athletes as they compete in the Reebok CrossFit Games in just a couple of months.
In the second quadrant we talked about the minor leagues. Specifically the Southern Amateur Grid League is wrapping up their current season down in Columbia, SC. Make sure to check out their final tournament over the next 2 weekends. Also go ahead and vote for your favorite all-star from the season.
